Abstract

The need for lifelong learning and the challenge of balancing job, work and studies combine to make more and more adults seek tailor-made solutions for their training, with flexible schedules and near their workplace or home. Web technologies have shown to be excellent tools to support this kind of training, since they offer flexibility, accessibility, communication and interaction while permitting a variety of educational approaches. This paper presents the context and results of a case study involving trainers in a work environment and the personalized training program Form@tion for online trainers.
