Abstract

This text is a contribution to previous studies of hybrid learning situations. These are characterized by the alternating of face-to-face and remote phases in the learning process. This study investigates the effects on students’ representations of the introduction of a wiki as production tool, due to a change in platform. Questionnaires were used to collect data from university-level students for three consecutive school years. The purpose was to highlight the students’ perception of the impact of the change in the technopedagogical environment (especially its production function), with a special focus on the students’ perception of the learning device and learning process. Results show that the introduction of a wiki has a clear effect. Data also highlight that a virtual work environment in a hybrid learning situation with a strong face-to-face portion has differentiated effects depending on whether it is used by classroom as a whole or by students within smaller subgroups.
